100 Resilient Cities Terms of Service

Purpose of Platform

As part of the 100 Resilient Cities Challenge, RPA/100RC is making available to all Member Cities a Platform of innovative tools and services to support individual Member Cities in the implementation of their resilience strategies. Myriad organizations including funders, insurance companies, data specialists, educational institutions, research and scientific institutions, urban developers, constructions firms, large-system integrators and government organizations, will partner with RPA/100RC to contribute to the Platform. The Platform will have a catalog of tools and services available to Member Cities including solutions, service providers, research and other information and materials to help achieve resilience goals.

THE PLATFORM IS INTENDED FOR USE BY MEMBER CITIES (“Users”) ONLY. NOT FOR GENERAL DISTRIBUTION. DO NOT DISCLOSE, DISCUSS, RELEASE, DISSEMINATE OR OTHERWISE TRANSFER OR SHARE EXCEPT, AS NECESSARY, TO THOSE WORKING FOR OR WITH MEMBER CITY TO DEVELOP OR IMPLEMENT ITS 100RC RESILIENCE STRATEGY.

However, not all tools and services will be appropriate or available to all Member Cities. Availability of some tools or services may be limited. In such circumstances, Member Cities agree that RPA/100RC will determine which Cities will receive services with limited availability based on consideration of all the facts and circumstances.

Tools and services available on the Platform site are not entirely inclusive or exclusive of all tools and services that can be used or applied to achieve resilience goals. RPA/100RC does not develop, produce, approve or endorse tools, services, or other materials and information available on the Platform site that are attributed to sources other than RPA/100RC.

RPA/100RC does not control or guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness, completeness or effectiveness of tools, services, products, processes, information or materials contained on the Platform website or any linked website. Users agree that they use such tools, services, products, processes, information or materials at their own risk;

RPA/100RC cannot authorize the use of copyrighted materials contained in linked websites. Users must request such authorization from the sponsor of the linked website.

RPA/100RC is not responsible for transmissions Users receive from linked websites.
